We can now officially announce that there are three Indian teams that will participate in the Hybrid Tuktuk Battle! Three top engineering institutions are enthusiastic about the project and setting up battle teams with students and professors.
M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology was started by Sri. M S Ramaiah, an illustrious son of Karnataka under the Gokula Education Foundation in 1962. M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology has carved out for itself a big name all over the country and is recognized as a premier educational institution in India.
In 1985, the SRM group opened SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur. A measure of its success is the short span in which the organization grew and over the next few years numerous SRM centers of learning materialized.
R.V. College of Engineering. The department of mechanical engineering was established in 1963. Mechanical Engineering emphasizes on design, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems and also interdisciplinary areas like CAD/CAM, automation, operational research, mechatronics, FEM, managerial aspects of industry.

As a practicing Engineering & Management Consultant from Chennai , I am interested to know more about the Projects and Competitions . I am equally interested in 3 wheelers. I had the privilege of functioning as a DFM Judge for an Inter-University Competition of a similar nature during April 2008 @ Indianapolis ,USA .
I would like to Mentor or evaluate as the case may be.
