Diwali 2008! Happy Holiday!

Today is Diwali, the Festival of Light which, for the non-Indians under you, is a major Indian holiday and is a significant festival in Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism and Jainism. The Battle Team wishes all the Indian teams and our relations and friends a happy Diwali! These days the Festival of Light is celebrated by Hindus, Jains and Sikhs across the globe. The lights or lamps that are used during the festival signify the victory of good over evil within every human being and this is celebrated by decorating homes with lights, fireworks, distributing sweets and gifts.
