The Hybrid Auto Rickshaw battle will consist of several different phases. The teams will receive a Go or No Go based on the fulfilled assignments and criteria per phase. In order to compete in the final race the teams will need to complete 5 Go’s. Below you can keep track of the team’s progression as they battle towards the finish line!

Team Selection
Teams are formed and have been approved and presented to the outside world.

Plan of Action
For the plan of action teams will need to fulfill and deliver the following criterias:
-Composition of team and roles of team members
- Time-Planning
- Analysis of existing technologies
- First analysis of market
- Initial ideas and sketches
- Financial planning and sponsor plan
P3
First Design
Teams will hand in their first designs in which experts will provide suggestions to improve direction.
- Illustration of improved parts and additional features
- Calculations of expected improvements

Design Submission
In this phase teams will have to turn in their design with the final estimates of improvements and the first draft of their business case.

Prototype and Business plan
In this phase the teams will be receiving the final Go’s and No Go’s for the following deliverables:
- State of the art prototype
- Set of technical drawings
- Final business plan
- Report on environmental issues
- Report social issues and impact
P6
End Race and Overall Presentation
The final race will be held in India in which they will present and be judged on the final test model, conversion guide and drawings.
Total Tuks
Throughout the battle year BTs can earn bonus points, also known as ‘Tuks’. Tuks do not have influence on the main prize, but will have influence on the Tuk-award for most inspiring approach. The 3 categories for which Tuks are rewarded are:
a) Team spirit and strategic cooperation/alliances
b) Originality and creativity business approach (financial resourcefulness and smart marketing)
c) Media publicity generated
