Now the battle is over, the Battle Teams as well as Enviu and its partners will focus on the next phase. The aim of this phase is to have final demonstration models of the technologies, as well as a clear strategy on how to involve them into a social enterprise. Many plans and ideas are there that have to be funneled, checked and tested before a final business plan can be presented to the world. Most participating universities will be working towards a second model for an upgrade system which brings us another step closer to cleaner auto rickshaws. It is expected that the upcoming months we all will retreat and work on the final structure. Our aim is to have a clear strategy early 2010. A new website, focused on the new enterprise, is expected to be launched within a few months. We will keep you posted through our newsletters and hope to amaze you again within half a year when the Hybrid Auto Rickshaw Project comes back with social bang!!Thank you all for your interest and faith. You can contact Ramesh Prabhu (Ramesh@enviu.org) to ask for, drop or offer information. Together we can make this happen!

During the last stages of the Hybrid Auto Rickshaw Battle, Enviu was searching for an Indian entrepreneur that is able and willing to take the project forward. Enviu has found the man it was looking for!
His name is Ramesh Prabhu, a 30-year old business minded entrepreneur, studied in Hyderbad, living at this moment in Bangalore.
The upcoming months Ramesh will establish the Green Auto Rickshaw Company (better names are welcome and can be sent to ramesh@enviu.org). Ramesh his ultimate personal and professional goal is to create a breakthrough in the current auto rickshaw market. For the upcoming years it is his task to ‘touch’ many lives by improving the living standard of drivers and their families, while preventing emission to be emitted in the air unnecessarily.
Ramesh was in the Netherlands to write the project plan for the next phase. Knowledge about the project is transferred and important stakeholders are met.
We wish you all the best Ramesh!
